The Beekeepers Association of the Ozarks is proud to present the area’s only year-long beginning beekeeping school. It runs from the first classroom evening in January right through to the last field class in October — a full season alongside people who have done it before.
The $150 fee includes
- 12 classes with hands-on opportunities
- Field classes allow you to learn from local mentors throughout the season
- Guidance for purchasing bees & equipment
- Access to experienced mentors
- 1 year BAO club membership with monthly support sessions
- Beekeeping Essentials Guide with monthly hive management guidance and resources

Field classes
Eight hands-on days
Eight (8) hands-on field classes are held the second Saturday of the month, March through October.
Enrolled students are emailed the details for each session, including where to meet.
